Krunkit is free to use. Your files stay on your device. Use the service responsibly. We provide it as-is with no warranties.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Krunkit ("the Service"), available at krunkit.me, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Krunkit provides free, browser-based image processing tools including compression, format conversion, and resizing. All processing occurs locally in your web browser using WebAssembly technology. No files are uploaded to our servers.

The Service is provided free of charge and does not require account registration.

3. User Responsibilities

By using Krunkit, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service beyond what is permitted by law
  • Not use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the Service
  • Not attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

4. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain all rights to the images you process using Krunkit. Since files never leave your device, we make no claim to your content.

Our content: The Krunkit name, logo, website design, and original code are owned by Krunkit. The underlying image codecs (mozjpeg, oxipng, libwebp, libavif) are open-source software used under their respective licenses.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the results of image processing will meet your specific requirements. Image compression is lossy by nature, and results may vary depending on the source image and settings used.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Krunkit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Krunkit available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without prior notice.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
